Lit it while I was reading on a rainy night and the absinthe note came through soft and herbal, not sharp at all. The blue cypress keeps it interesting without being heavy, and it burned evenly the whole evening.

The blue cypress keeps this from smelling like straight-up licorice, which I was a little worried about. It burns clean and even, no tunneling at all, and my whole living room smells like a fancy hotel bar now.

The blue cypress and absinthe combo is genuinely unusual — it's green and herbal up front, then settles into something warm and woody after about an hour. I've been lighting it while I read in the evening and it fills the whole room without being overpowering.
