Archipelago - 無花果罐裝蠟燭

Bought this on a whim and now it's lit every evening while I cook dinner. The persimmon keeps it from going full fig-jam sweet, and the lemon gives it a clean edge I wasn't expecting.

The fig is lush and sun-warmed rather than syrupy, and that little hit of lemon keeps it from getting too heavy. I've been burning it on the kitchen counter in the late afternoon and the persimmon sweetness fills the whole room without overwhelming it.
