Jonathan Adler - 莫霍克火柴點火器

The friction strip on the bottom actually works — my strike-anywhere matches light on the first try every time. It's heavier than I expected too, so it stays put on the coffee table instead of sliding around.

Bought this mostly as a desk ornament but the frictional base actually works great, one quick strike and the match lights every time. The little mohawk detail makes me smile whenever I walk past it.

The porcelain bisque has this matte, chalky texture that feels great in the hand, and the frictional base actually lights my strike-anywhere matches on the first try. It sits by the fireplace looking like a little sculpture instead of a utility item.
